The short answer
Grant schemes for self-consumption in Spain come and go, and the details change by region and town. The most reliable savings today tend to come from local tax discounts rather than direct grants.
We check the current position for your town — Jávea, Teulada, Benissa, Denia or wherever you live — when we prepare your quote, so you know what you can realistically claim.
IBI discounts
Many ayuntamientos offer a bonificación on the IBI (property tax) for homes with solar self-consumption, often for several years. Each council sets its own percentage, duration and conditions, and some require you to apply within a set period after installation.
ICIO discounts
Some councils also reduce the ICIO, the tax on construction works charged when the installation is registered. This is a one-off saving on the installation itself.
Income tax relief
Spain has offered IRPF deductions for works that improve a home's energy efficiency, which can include solar in some cases. Eligibility depends on your tax residency and the energy certificates before and after the works — ask your gestor or tax adviser.
How we help
We provide the technical documentation — installation certificate, registration and any energy certificates needed — that councils and grant bodies ask for, and point you to the right application.
