What temperature can I expect?
A correctly sized unit holds 28-30°C comfortably, even in April and October.
Do I need a pool cover?
It is not required, but a cover cuts heat loss dramatically and pays for itself quickly.
How much does a pool heat pump cost to run?
Running costs depend on pool size, cover use and target temperature. Heating during peak solar hours is what keeps the bill close to zero, so we set the timers around your generation.
Are pool heat pumps worth it in Spain?
On the Costa Blanca a heat pump is the most efficient way to heat a pool, typically producing 5-6 kWh of heat for every kWh of electricity. Paired with solar panels it is usually far cheaper than gas or electric resistance pool heaters.
Are pool heat pumps noisy?
Full-inverter models run at low speed most of the time and stay below normal conversation level. We also position the unit away from bedrooms and neighbours.

Solar thermal pool collectors need a lot of roof space and only work in direct sun. A heat pump powered by solar panels controls the temperature precisely, and the panels power your home the rest of the year.
